DBH 1teko: Brochures about school – Leizarani buruzko triptikoak

Aurten, DBH 1eko ikasleek triptikoak prestatu dituzte ingeleseko irakasgaian, datorren ikasturtean institutura etorriko diren ikasle berriak informatzeko eta lasaitzeko.

Liburuxketan ordutegiei, irakasgaiei eta instalazioei buruzko informazioa jaso dute, baita etxeko lanei edo azterketei buruzko zalantzak argitu ere.

Otsailaren 6an, Ondarretako ikasleen bisitan, triptikoak banatu eta azaldu zizkieten. Jarduera honek ingelesa lantzeko balio izan du, eta, horrez gain, ikasleek ikasturte hasierako beldurrak nola gainditu dituzten hausnartzeko.

This year, in the 1st year ESO English class, we prepared brochures containing information we thought would be useful for the students who will be joining our secondary school next year.

Therefore, in these brochures, we covered topics such as school schedules, subjects, the different laboratories and special rooms available, and general facilities. We also answered questions regarding their most complex concerns—for example, whether there is a lot of homework or many exams—to ensure they don’t face difficulties next year.

Last February 6th, when students from Ondarreta visited our school to tour the facilities, we gave each of them a brochure. We explained what the brochures contained and reassured them about the upcoming year.

It has been a very interesting activity in which the students, in addition to learning English, have been able to reflect on their own experience from the beginning of the school year until now. They observed how the fears they might have had at the start of the course have dissipated, because now they are the ones giving advice to the students who will be new next year.
